This is really pretty cool. Very organic looking with all the contours and soft shading and the whole composition is just ace.
It's nice to see people creating work that isn't what we stereotypically associate with them.

Mangroves are neat - surviving in a hostile environment, branching, adapting. Like a lot of things, they're boring until you start actually investigating them, at which point they flip into being fascinating.

Rhizomes.

Building.

Entangling roots, hidden malice.
