It was late in the morning in the Bendorf house. Zmama was awake making her rounds on facebook when she saw a post from her friend Marquis and wanted to show her twelve year old son Zdawg. She knocked on the door “Z come here I want to show you what mdawg posted it is really funny” She heard no response just a low growl. “Z what did Mdawg tell you about being grumpy?” She heard the growl again and shrugged “Alright well you need to get up soon” Then she swore she heard a loud WOOF! But shrugged it off as a cough.
Back in his room Zach pulled the blanket off his head and scratched his chin where he swore he felt hair he smiled “Yay I am getting a beard like Marquis”. He jumped out of bed and accidentally stepped on a lego “OWWWWW” he then grumbled and felt a stronger itch on his chin he went up to the mirror and was shocked it looked like a lining of hair growing across his neck. “Woah that’s a beard” He walked out of the room and hummed, his mom looked.
“Z, what is that on your neck?” She asked
He smiled ‘Its my beard” She looked at him closely and saw thick hair on the back of his neck
“I need to clean your neck up come here lets get the clippers”
“But I wanna play video games!” He whined stomping his feet “I wann-achoo” He wiped his nose it felt really wet but he didn’t mind it.
Mom smiled “Fine but remember what Mdawg says about being grumpy” She said he stuck his tongue out and looked down it seemed longer than normal. He then sat next to flame who went to sniff his hand but instead of licking it he looked at it and moved away
“Fine be that w-achoo” He sneezed again and looked up at the mirror and jumped his face had shifted a little bit it looked like a dog’s more specifically like Flame’s his mom was coming in the room he could not let her see this he might have to go to the doctor so he hid under the blanket.
“Z do you want some chips?”
“Rrryea Dorrrritos prease” He said trying to use his new mouth
Mom didn’t think much of it “Ok Scooby Doo” She said and got him a bag he reached from under the blanket and snatched it up as he winced again and his head went complete dog “Roh no, Ri grot to get Remdawgs help frast” He whispered to himself He poked his head out right as his mom saw it.
“Aww cute flame with his bo—“ she looked and saw flame laying on the floor and then looked at the other face.
“Rom Rother ras right” He said. She sighed and took her phone out taking pictures.
“ROM RIS IS AN EMERRRRR-WOOF” He then bent over and suddenly a tail burst out of his pajama bottoms. He frowned not because of growing a tail but because it was his favorite pajamas. Mama scratched behind his ears.
“Its ok lets call Mdawg on Facebook Im sure he can help.
Mdawg was sitting in his room reading when his facebook chat went ringing he looked and smiled “Cool its my little brother from another mother” He said he answered the call and was greeted with a dog face
“Rother relp I was grrrrrumpy and I am turrrrning into a woof woof” He said.
Mdawg shook his head “Zdawg I told you about being grumpy.” He scratched his chin “Ok all you have to do is have a good attitude then you should be turned to normal but if you stay grumpy mommy will have two dogs instead of one”.
Z whimpered but then his mom hugged him “Ill love you as a boy or dog but don’t you worry Mdawg and I will help you get better youll be yourself in no time” He looked at her with sad puppy eyes as Flame came over and gave his muzzle a lick he giggled
“Ranks boy” He said and hugged his fuzzy buddy he looked at his mom”Ri will try to brrrrrr be nice” He said.
Mama smiled “I know you will sweet boy” She kissed his fuzzy head and went off to do some laundry. Z then went to his room and changed into a t-shirt and shorts he didn’t want to make his pajamas anymore messed up. He then sat and talked with Mdawg for a while. Mdawg always made him feel better and they talked for quite a while but then he had to go “Ranks Bro I rove u”
Mdawg smiled “Don’t worry youll be a normal boy in no time I know it” he said and logged off. Z then sat up and scratched his head “Grrr how do you dreal with this fur Flame it so itchy grrrrrr” he itched down his neck as it grew down his back and arms as well as his chest “NOOOOOO!” He exclaimed as he took off his shirt from the waist up he looked like flame on top and a tailed human on the bottom he began to tear up and Mama came in
“Sweetie its ok” She said holding her son tight “I know how about you help me make cookies thatll take your mind off of the dog thing and then we can watch a movie maybe Wizard of Oz” She said
He wiped his eyes “Ok, mama” He hugged her tight and they went off into the kitchen. As they made cookies Zdawg had a lot of fun mama even put some of the dough on his big wet nose and he laughed as he licked it off. After they put the cookies in the oven Z went and took a shower then came out and sat on the couch as Mama brought him a plate of cookies and a glass of juice He snuggled real close to her and smiled as they watched the movie.
They then turned on some music and started dancing, Flame loved having a dog boy to play with he even tried to teach Zadder how to walk like him and how to play doggy tug of war. Zdawg even enjoyed barking and giving his mama some puppy licks. As he had fun his attitude got much better and he ended up enjoying his day being part dog. Finally the night became late and everyone was getting tired. Flame licked Zdawg’s muzzle a bit and Z looked at him and yawned big and fell asleep on the couch with Flame next to him.
The next morning he woke up and yawned but then sat up He felt his face it felt smooth he reached behind him no fur l He then got up and looked in the mirror and jumped back “I AM BACK BABY YES!” Mama came out and smiled it had worked Zdawg was back to normal Flame looked a little sad and Zdawg smiled
“Don’t worry I am sure I will have another ruff day hehe” He smiled and wrestled with flame Mom smiled and noticed a small tail still there sticking out of Zdawg’s shorts, She was going to say something but just chuckled at her boys.
