A new civil defense (I guess it's really Homeland Security now) siren stands soaked in the mist. I've heard it twice and it's loud, but not very nice sounding. I know it's much more versatile than the more conventional mechanical siren but I find the audio so fake. I'd swear they're using a little Casio keyboard from the early 80's to make the tones.

This was shot RAW with a VERY big lens and the siren isn't very close to me. It's also very overcast and raining so it's sort of melancholy.
