Race: Chiropteran/Spectre subspecies.

Meet Kazriel, the redesign of my fursona Kaz. Kazriel is a species from of series of stories I've been working on called Chiropterans. Glowing bat like creatures with strange psiotic powers such as telekenisis, hypnosis, or phychokenisis. These strange bat like aliens are highly intelligent and mostly docile. Often thriving in the mountainous regions, in cities along the canyon walls of the Giant's Causway. These creatures, being batlike in nature, have echolocative abilities. Unlike most bats however, they have remarkable vision during the day, and far greater at night. While most are fruit bats, some are carnivorous, regardless of what nature they are, all Chiropterans are increadible hunters, capable of tackling even the most challenging of prey.

The Spectre subspecies of the Chiropteran Race are very different from regular Chiropterans, as they are vampiric in nature. Often required to ingest at least 2 gallons worth of blood in a single week, a task that is not so easy, as Spectre subtypes are highly feared and are often hunted down by extremist groups who wish to eradicate these creatures.

Interestingly, the Spectre subtypes are very unique, as they are far more physically adept in almost every way compared to most Chiropterans. Better at Psiotic abilities, strength, speed, and even intelligence. The most remarkable aspect of these subspecies however, is that their saliva has a very potent antibiotic, that has powerful anesthetic healing properties that not only suppress pain when feeding, but heal the wounds rapidly. What would usually take months of healing, could be cured within a few, or even hours. With voluntary help from these unique types, scientists may be able to create a powerful elixir that could possibly save countless lives one day.





Hope you guys like this idea. Believe it or not, this is still a major work in progress, I'm still designing this guy as well as other types. I'm also in fact making novel of sorts. It isn't gonna be like a book book, but rather, a series of stories that takes place within a steampunk world. Loosely based off of the comic I tried to make a while back. Feed back and ideas are greatly appreciative, and I'll try to respond to any comments as best I can.
