This song reminds me of Lewis (the paisley fellow there) so much. In a lot of incarnations, this character is a huge playboy. He dates a lot of people, sleeps around, and generally is very casual about it. Eventually he settles down into a poly relationship with Twain (the cream lady with blue stripes), Vich (Headphones and visor fellow), and Crawford (lavendar due with vest and hat). He’s very adamant for a long time that he’s still a playboy though he clearly is more settled down. There’s a lot of teasing on his partner’s parts because he’s very committed to them and doesn’t show interest in others anymore.
So Death of a Bachelor, to me, is Lewis accepting that he’s settled down and is very happy with his situation. It’s so cute to me and god I love these babies so much.
