Continuing this special presentation on the last "Throwback Thursday" of my latest 'sweeps month' (February, 2016), I have another digital picture (taken by my brother Glenn from the Pompano Beach, Florida pier) on Saturday, February 20th...
Walking along the pier, my sibling and I saw a lot more pelicans - hanging around the fishermen in the area, in the hope that a fish will come their way. (Earlier on, Glenn saw two pelicans on the pier - one of them in a nesting position - when a fish was tossed to them. Believe it or not, the nesting pelican got to the fish first, even though it landed close to its upright partner!)
This avian trio wasn't even phased by the passing tourists. They believe that "patience will out"...
