not really fast, its really hard to run in spain, theres a cop or a speedtrap every time u try to take a breath...with my civic i reached 228kph (around 141mph). Curiously, when I go to germany i never run there, the Autobahns are really bad and are full of crazy people. With a bike I have done 268kph (around 166mph)
Damn it sound like the Tennessee highway, there is a cop car for literally every half mile. But I have hit 120mph on the interstate and 100mph on back roads. The interstate was ok because it was deserted and light out side and the back road was a little freaky because the next night after I hit 100 I saw a cop car there watching people go by. The speed limit for the back road was 35mph. ha
Thou Im always stepping on it in the streets :p im a bad guy hehe ^^U always handbraking in every corner, thou would like to have a FR car so would just have to step on it a bit and...BAM, the magic drift :P hehe. Inside town my top speed with the car is maybe around 100mph...thou in an avenue i did the 110-120mph several times... ^^U...its the only way i feel alive :p until someday i crash hehe. or someday a cop will bust me :p thou the first time they busted me was after getting my license 6 days later :p going on 60mph in a 25mph street ^^U
Haha wow we have a lot in common, I always like to be the first one off the line of a red light. I love when it rains because it means my handbrake turns are much sweeter. Which is why I want a Rear wheel car next. I've found that dirt roads are super fun to go drifting on. I got cough doing 41 in a 25mph zone. But it was a school zone, my high school. So the ticket was $140, but I've been good trying not to get pulled again. I almost got pulled on the highway when I was doing 90 in a 70 and a cop saw me and just flashed his lights at me. Talk about feeling alive.
I have collected just three fines after all :p first one, the one i commented: 60mph in a 25mph street. the second one was funny: there was a rutinaire control, and they stoped me. I live in a 25.000 population small town, and there arent too many cops. and the ones stoped me, were the same ones that stoped me the first time xD they said "hey guys, stop this one, we knwo him, he was runing like crazy 3 months ago, i remember him!" Damn xDD they managed to impose me a fine, and they did: they found out my mirror was broken and got my second fine :P the third one was pathetic...I wanted to provoke a guy driving his 360 modena, but he didnt pay attention on me, so i stepped on it making real noise in a small avenue, and there was a cop walking around. when i stoped in the traffic light...he made me step off the car...that was really sad :p a walking cop stoped me! xD lol...since then got no more fines, I got my new Civic, I run like hell and never got any fine yet...lets pray wont get any still :p
I still haven't forgiven Renault fully for being the death of this wonderful car. The thing I think is so special about the Esprit is that it's as much of a joy for those who are driving as it is for those that aren't. Sure a Ferrari will turn heads, but the Esprit is rather more like Concorde; the ordinary person, even though they know very little of cars, or of 'planes, can still feel the soulful majesty of the machine as they watch it go by.
