As a fan of the Darkstalkers games, I pictured Donovan as a Marowak because its Bonemerang attack reminded me of the call Kilshred move. Add to that, the bone Marowak carries reflects the Dhylec Donovan always carry around.

You may have noticed that I've made Marowak look more crocodilian than in the official artwork.

I assure you that I didn't choose the Zubat line for Demetri (and besides, turning the Zubat line into vampires and succubi are cliche.) Want to know what Pokemon I chose for him? Just wait and see. ^_^
