Matthew felt like an idiot back there, although he couldn't really explain it. Especially if they never saw The First, or did he run when someone was there?
"Let's just try too drop if for now." Brian said "We can't take back anything that happened."
"Then... What do we do?" Matthew asked as he passed one of the building "It's not like I can go back to that study group."
"Why not?" Lass asked "Thay might be still thare."
"But I just told them I may be late for a class?"
"Just say that ya were-" but then she bumped into something, and Matthew followed suit into someone. A Massive purple tigress with green stripes and a second pair of arms.
"Oh, Sorry Sera." Matthew said "Backing up didn't see you there."
"Sera!" Lass cheered "Ma lass!" then squee'd so loud it made Matthew cringe.
"Um.... You alright?" Sera asked
"I'm uh.. just fine." Matthew said "Just a bit of a headache."
"Keep with the lies." Brian said "You're doing good, just keep'em good."
"W-what are you doing around here?" He asked
Sera just held up his book "You forgot it back up on the table we studied at." Thought you'd need it for you class."
"Oh, thanks." Matthew then reached out as Lass was hugging Sera's reflection. "It turned out I was wrong about my class. Thanks anyway though, panic over nothing."
"Could ye stay and talk with her a bit more?" Lass asked "She's such a sweet Lass."
"And we missed out on the studying." Brian added
"Say, you think we could maybe... Study some more later?" He asked "You know, since I wasn't there for the group study for long?"
"Actually I have a class to get to around here soon." Sera said and handed over the book. "You may need to find Jake for it."
"Or just wait for you?" Matthew asked "I could maybe buy some tea for us to boot."
"You got a deal." Sera smiled "I gotta go though. Take care." And then she passed him.
"Yay!" Lass cheered "You sly dog! High five!" And she held her hand to the glass "Come on!"
Matthew just shook his head and walked off for a nearby shop.
