Based on an idea that I've had recently, I have been pondering the Kirby universe and the abilities of these creatures, and came up with the idea of a Needlous and a Starman who were brothers to each other, so here they are.
Thanks to my very dear friend
Ipsum , I have images that represent them now.
Cosmin the Starman and Zino the Needlous.
So, Cosmin has a blue gemstone that holds his cape in place, and his cape itself is night black with starlight patterns all throughout it. In contrast, his body color is more of a half-golden yellow aside from the standard normal yellow. Zino is more base colors, but he has twin sets of markings down his sides at 45 degree angles that look like shooting stars.
Cosmin is a bit of a look before you leap kind of individual, prone to moments of hesitation, but loves the feeling of soaring through the air. Zino is careless and free, wandering off from time to time. He loves to explore, but is aware of his physical disabilities in regards to certain obstacles.
When the two are around each other, Zino's constantly trying to get Cosmin to take him flying, because he loves the freedom that flying brings, especially considering Cosmin can carry him on his back or just holding him while they fly.
Kind of a big brother/little brother dynamic between the two of them, with Cosmin being the more mature one. Zino is Cosmin's adopted younger brother, and for a specific reason.
Cosmin learned to fly in Rainbow Resort, and his time there altered him quite a bit from what time in Butter Building or Grape Garden would have done to him. Spending time with UFO's and Bubbles helped him understand the freedom that flying brings, but the qualities that are needed to sustain it. He can hold a glide indefinitely and his jumping prowess rivals that of the Hi-Jump ability itself.
Because of his training there, his cape and gem took on hues from his surroundings. His cape turned to a silky starlit pattern that reflected the night sky, and the blue gem on his body is from the prominent reflective qualities that Rainbow Resort provides, especially the ice flows.
He wanted to become a star, and his body shifted to reflect that coloration, but he became more humble and hesitant as time went on, growing to understand his place in the world, and watching where he's going.
Zino was well-cared for in his earlier years, playing with the various creatures around Dreamland in some of his time moving around. He didn't move much from some areas in his life, roughly staying around the same place. Most of his life has been spent in Rainbow Resort, but through Cosmin, he's seen most of Dreamland. He's found Orange Ocean and Ice Cream Island to be some of his favorite places, and he adores food, especially sweets.
Some of the playmates Zino had in some of his younger years included Chilly's, Laser Ball's, and Squishy's. Most of Zino's life, he had been surrounded by these creatures, cared for and treated well. Very long story short, at one point in time, he and a few friends wandered into the Bomber Fields, who took offense at their presence and proceeded to begin to blow up the area, taking out most of his friends in the process. Zino would have died too, if not for Cosmin's appearance, who had come there to test his endurance and speed. The two barely made it out, and Zino quickly looked upon Cosmin like a older brother, someone whom he could rely on and trust. He imprinted onto Cosmin, and the two have been inseparable since. The event did do something for Zino though, because the debris from the blasts tore across part of his body, leaving marks in the shape of shooting stars across both sides of his body.
The two have been together a long time.

I really like the dynamic between them, this kind of cosmic attraction they have in stars and their yellow coloration. I also like how the stories between them work out. It's a very nice pairing between creatures I don't see much of and especially of one of my favorite Kirby creatures in the franchise.
