Outfit design iterations I made in the past days for my new personal project for these guys.
The 'new' clothing style is a departure from my old stuff where I usually did skin-tight armour, while the new designs will focus on loose cloth, coats and capes etc. I am still in the process of thinking up how I want everything to be, but it's surely going to be kind of different from my older stuff you may have seen, both conceptually and visually.

You're not kidding that these designs are a step in a different direction from your old clothing designs. But hey, loose cloth, coats and capes, fabrics that move with movement and wind... I think it's a sign of an artist getting more and more advanced with their craft! A step in an interesting new direction for you, and one that has me excited to see more and more that comes out of this universe.
But for now, I want to just praise you on your versatility and variety you've shown off, both in the face sketches and now these outfit designs! Having noticed some of your previous submissions that showcase a weird and wonderful alien world, full of bizarre and dangerous terrain and environments, I think all these designs fit in pretty well! They look rugged and sensible, showcasing just enough exposed technology that makes them look futuristic... without, y'know, having all their sensitive equipment catching the breeze.
I'm excited by the prospect of all of these designs being cannon to "68656c6c6f20776f726c64 _". It would be a... minor shame if we didn't see any of these again, but it's your world and your decisions! You're just showcasing such interesting technology, accessories, equipment... all super fascinating stuff if you ask me!
Finally, I like that you've paid attention to the silhouettes of each of the costumes. If you're going to be creating more environmental pieces, where the characters aren't the focal points, an interesting shadow can an interesting picture maketh!
P.S.
One of your tags is 'loos', when I assume you meant to say 'loose'? I bring it up 'cause... 'loos' is kind of like a name for toilets, at least in the UK, and it made me chuckle. You don't have to change it! Just thought it was pretty funny, hehe.

Tags corrected, haha.
Thanks a lot for the kind words, I think that shows that it's clearly very different from my earlier stuff if someone else can point that out that exactly! I'll try to use elements from all of these because I don't really have a favourite, but I think the designs speak for themselves when it comes to the basic idea I am working with.

Heh, you're welcome!
I definitely think it's an interesting new step for you and your artwork. Your focus on silhouettes and the inclusion of much more 'moveable' materials like loose fabrics has me excited to see you trying out some much more dynamic pieces in the future!
But in the meantime, I really like all of these designs. And I REALLY like all the accessories too. Getting a feel for the technology level of 68656c6c6f20776f726c64 _ is fun indeed! And I know for a fact I'd be jazzed to see if you ever make a sketchsheet showing off things like guns, blades, pouches, headgear, radios... but your world, your decisions!
'till next time! I'll be eagerly awaiting more!

Thanks! It really depends, skin-tight can be easier to draw because it doesn't have all these folds, but you really need a proper sense for body shape there, while loose fabric can create some more interesting silhouettes and shapes. If someone wears a long coat you also don't have to draw some complicated bits in the hip and belly area as well, which is really convenient, haha.
