Beatriz really does seem like a nice and charming person.... but it is appearing like she is better being skilled as an 'Overseer' than being 'nice'.... Strong hints that he is not really being allowed some choices, though maybe for his own good?

This is a daring presentation of the scene. You compress a large amount of action and interaction intp one page. You make it work well.

Aurgh! As the son of a scholar of ancient dead tongues, he should know better than to read strange scrolls aloud. Not without saying the proper words of warding first. "Bad Things" happen.

I've never seen a comic panel that stuck one character view right on top of another. Not a bad thing, just interesting.

It'd be crazy if he ended up channeling the spirit of his father, whom she once had a fling with. Have a chit chat, and then get down to business. Wake up feeling used and confused.

I love panel two. The last panel is very surreal. It looks like Anton is standing on the image, as if it were a painting of the scene and left on the floor. The shadows he's casting upon it is a nice touch. It leaves me disquieted and worried.
