My dragonesses have got to stop taking candy from strangers. :P Tony tickles Cherry's hindpaws.
I was experimenting with perspective in this and truly failed. I'm okay with the overall result, but I've still a ways to go. Many thanks to Jonssa for allowing me to practice on his commission.

Thank you very much. To clarify, I'm happy with the color, background, character design (in other words, most of it) but the perspective really needles me, makes me realize how terrible I am at it, and inspires me to improve by learning from others.
Learning from others is always a good thing, for sure. But from where I sit, gobs of artists could learn craploads of stuff from you, too! Not to diminish what a lot of other artists can do, mind. But geesh, I have seen good artists who couldn't produce work of this extraordinary caliber. Your lighting, composition, capture of the body posture, expressions, and everything else about this piece is completely spot on. If you were open for commissions, I'd commission you in a minute!
In any case, I have little doubt, given your very obvious talent, that figuring out perspective shouldn't prove that much of a hurdle. I hope you get it, hon. With that stuff you already produce, any improvement on it would send highest quality into the realm of utter mind blowing.
Here's liking your work lots and lots. You have got an undeniable touch!

nice and playful scenery. :) although I guess she would have a hard time not to hurt her wings squirming. great character designs, she looks female without boobage and like, and his evil smile is priceless. ^^ and the poses and gestures are as great as well.
to me, the perspective doesn't look that much off, but I guess it'd be more obvuious in the pre-drawing stage.
or maybe I have a lot to learn as well. wouldn't be surprised. :)
