Oh man, today is Pokemon Day and I can't tell you guys how much Pokemon have inspired me growing up, so let me show you (my pokeymans). Amber (my Flygon morph) and Sparky (my electric-type gym leader) was my very first original pokemon characters when I joined a roleplaying forum named 'Destiny'. I suppose that's accurate because I fell in love with Pokemon and never got myself out. Because of Pokemon, I have made so many characters, so many stories, so many friends, like I have no idea what kind of a person I would be today if it didn't exist. I remember the very first time that I got Pokemon Blue when it came out, I took it upstairs to my room and sat in my bean bag chair and played all night. Bulbasaur was my first starter and I've been a grass type starter fan ever since. I remember drawing pokemon and cutting them out to hide them all over my room and my brother had to "catch 'em all". I still have a game from each generations that it came out and never deleted my files because I love my pokemon so much. I got super feelsy when I was going through my old artwork because I really do have a lot of wonderful memories to reflect upon, heh. Pokemon honestly helped to shape who I am and I couldn't be more grateful for that.
