I'd created a number of handmade greeting cards for friends and relatives alike. Usually, I make one of them, and then produce photocopies of the original art (at Kinko's or elsewhere) before distributing them. But once in a great while, I would make just one greeting card for a particular individual who deserves it...

Such is the case for Aldi, whom I'd made several one-of-a-kind cards for his birthday. This image of the front and back of his massive marsupial character 'Roofus' appeared on one such greeting card, made in 2002. I even had 'Roofus' wearing a T-shirt with a quotation by Cervantes about being fat... =OQ|

I hope you like it as much as he did!
