I know I've been really quiet here. I've basically spent the past month trying to get things cast for blank orders and things prepped for finished mask or partial commissions. getting materials ordered for several projects. but the month has flown by so fast and it's already rent time again.

I finished this parrot blank sculpt also FINALLY for macawsome 's spix mask! and I wanted to play with fabricating a regular parrot and testing a method which turned out well with this! (fleecing and then ladder stitching the fur pattern to that!)

This mask is up for sale!

follow eyes blue with reddish pink on the edges!
fleece fleshy areas! paint accented and some puff paint texture!
three colors of fur
feather trimmed fur in entirety
airbrushing and conditioning of fur feathers for the perfect realistic look! (please note if you want to know, I use acrylic paint for all of my airbrushing and painting)
fully airbrushed and sealed beak.
large eye ports! while the straight on vision isn't good. the vision around you is wonderful! and all it takes is a slight turn of the head any way to see in front of you. really the vision is great.

Also note, I realize parrot beaks move a little differently than this. I could not mimic the full range of beak movement in a blank that wasn't too engineered Xb

head size could even fit a 25 inch I'm sure. it's very roomy! My head is a 23 inch. and I could use it a tad tighter strapwise. I can adjust the straps for any head size but for this mask I wouldn't suggest 21 inch. I'd suggest 23 or more. if you are 21 inch and you would like to have this mask, I would need to edit the whole hood to be a little smaller along with the straps. as this would take a bit of work I would have an extra fee unless the bid is above $1200 if bid is over $1200 I will adjust for free!

There is NO current tongue. I still have to sculpt and mold a tongue. I want to test it out with expanding foam instead of silicone so it's not so heavy! will complete a tongue before mailing!

I will also be ordering a fan kit from dreamvisioncreations for this mask as well and install before sending!

There is NO buy out. only bids! I prefer full payment at time of win. I will expect that you agree to full payment when you place your bid, unless you contact me and we agree upon a payment plan before your bid. if you do not talk with me on a payment plan before bidding you are EXPECTED to pay in full on Friday the 4th at time of win. payment plans I could consider is half up front. and payments of $100 a month minimum after!
No sniping. Every bid within 30 min of the end time will receive an extra hour extension!

You may be interested in the blank itself! to clarify, I can not take orders for this just yet. I still have to complete the dino blank orders! but I will be casting some precast blanks of this style to sell up in the next couple weeks! so keep your eyes peeled. cut and hinged will be $130. I would prefer to sell cut and hinged only. the beak requires special care to cut apart because of the lower beak part curving up into the top piece! :) but if you feel you are capable of cutting this apart I may sell a couple uncut for $85. These blanks are a nice large blank in comparison to most of my mammals!
