Sometimes Star is how I wish I was, and sometimes Star is exactly like me. in this page me and her are very similar, Kids...urrgh...so dropkickable... LOL okay I dont mean that, and I actually (like star) prefer kids once they can walk and talk and can play around with them and they can tell you whats wrong. But Babies scare the bejeezus outta me. Bizarrely I think that's kinda a common trait among ageplayers. That certainly seems to be the case in the ones I know. I wonder if there's some correlation between the two.
Anyway featuring...

ugh round these parts stage 2 is usually from ages 3-6 now they get mouthier and nastier at a younger age every year. cause parents don't do their jobs anymore and discipline. If I said the crud that most kids spout off nowadays to one another when i was a kid i would been in the corner pants down red arse facing the room
I think your categories are pretty accurate. For any kid under the age of 3 is too much for me to handle. I don't understand them and I can't talk to them. Once they're able to talk, I actually like them because they're funny and they also believe anything I say (because somehow being a grown up gives you the power to know everything). Once they hit the age where they can play video games... oh boy. Just stick me in a room full of kids with Pokémon games and I won't leave for hours XD
See, now I love kids. Babies are great, because they don't talk back to you, and sleep a lot. They tend not to get into things they aren't supposed to.
Three to ten year olds are pretty easy to get along with, you just sit down and play with them. If you treat them like an intelligent adult, instead of a kid, but do it on their level of understanding, you'll be fine.
Ten to 18 year olds are the hardest to deal with, particularly the 10 to 14 year olds, because hormones are kicking in, the rebellion streak is there, but you can make it perfectly clear who the boss is when you take away their iPhones and computer access for a week. Fifteen to 18 year olds are starting to become adults, and you can be logical with them, if you've raised them correctly.
At 18, if you have problems with your child, it's really simple. Let them come home to find their belongings outside of the house, and the locks changed.
Having said all of this, I don't have any children, which is the best part of all, since I can say to them 'We're done, go see your parents!'

You're not alone.
I used to be uncomfortable around kids, until I was forced to spend more time with them. My wife already had two young nephews, and I was uncomfortable around them at first, but now we're best buds, because we have a common interest in legos, action figures, and imaginative games.
And that's my general take on young kids now, as long as I'm in a semi-little state of mind, I'm okay with them.

Eeeeee, I do want it! I look so adorable, thank you for including me Star! The entire thing is adorable actually but I think Lure might be getting the next spanking for running off like that. I might also have to run around ya and scream and nibble on yer ankles for those last two panels though.
Ha ha ha, my mind just goes back to when you meet your smaller counterpart: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15205890/
XDDDDD... full of kids indeed. :3
I just don't get why she's allways pissed with little ones... i know she doesn't know how to act with them, but is not that hard,at least these all looks like relativelly big kids. ^^
Sounds like an akward situation, in the other hand, being dressed like a little kid in a toyshop may go unnoticed, or as some kind or marketing strategy.

Yeah I tend to agree (and facepalm) to the fact that as a kid you tend to be a bit demanding when it comes to the toy isle. I mean, I remember a little bit my kinds of choices I had to go through the toy isle and be a bit demanding a little, and get grumpy when I don't exactly get what I wanted. (OOOHH HOW THAT HAUNTS ME.)
But now growing up, you see other kids do that too and it just makes you cringe.

I'm like that too, you're not alone. I'm 30 and I still have never held a baby in my life, at leased not an infant. I have a live-in nephew and I was way too scared to hold him when he was born that I couldn't do it. Two years later, I never wanted to let him go. He's five now and he and I are very close. I let him crawl all over me and whatnot. Little babies, however, yeah, I have a hard time with them. I'm very thankful I'm not the only one.
...Ironic that I'm into the babyfur, (or age-regression in particular), stuff...yet I can't handle or endure a real kid in real-life.
So...yeah, I can sympathize with Star here.
Why do I dislike kids? Mainly because of all the "noise, noise, noise, NOISE!", (quote from Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas), added in with the rambunctious, reckless behavior.
And yet...in a way, kids are perhaps the only citizens of a "civilized", "advanced", society that are able or allowed to truly live like a human; express their emotions, act freely, and so on.

I thought I was the only AB who didn't like reall babies. :P
Little kids are fine in short bursts, as awesome as they may be (especially my nephews who think I'm the coolest person in the world), I can get bored quickly. Thought that does happen with adults sometimes too.
By Saturday at FWA, I'm already getting burned out for crying out loud... :P

Honestly, I can relate to that feeling. I like playing the little/subbie ABDL a lot... but when it comes to being around REAL kids... Yeaaaaaaaaaaah, small doses are best. >_>; I can handle keeping the grandkids of one of my mom's friends entertained (usually by letting them borrow my iPad), but a whole mob of 'em... nope. :|
This is all I can think about..

And Lure's off and running like a kid loose in a... well, an actual toy store!
And to be honest, I don't blame Star for her displeasure of children. I'm not too crazy about kids too, especially the ones that go into a hissy tantrum, and the parents don't do anything about quieting the little brat down.

im not a fan of kids either. Babies are boring and gross, and toddlers get into and destroy everything.
Older kids are better because they turn into little human beings at that point, and I don't mind that, but I never know what to do with them. I guess if I was an aunt or had some younger cousins or what have you I'd be more comfortable, but I have no blood family at all, so there's no one to interact with or babysit.

*makes a pop sound with my mouth* Well, good luck star! Jus being there dressed like that yur already 10 times braver than me.......but lets just agree Lure is at an advanced level of bravery...like....god level. Lookin at that all i see is a whole lot of Nope. And i already have too much trouble buying Skylanders at Toys"R"Us in regular clothes. I'd be crying hard if i were in your shoes *claps for you* GO STAR!
You dress like a kid yet you hate kids....I'm having a very difficult lime parsing the logic here. And before anyone says anything yes I've cared for little kids before. I stayed with my sister for several years and helped take care of hers. Babysitting, diaper changes, the whole thing. The idea of hating children makes me cringe; it's just seems fundamentally wrong to me. Maybe it's because I'm 43 years old. Maybe it was I was abused when I was a child. I don't know. Kids are kids; they don't have that much control over how they behave. I try to be non-confrontational since I'm allergic to drama but I feel this needs saying. I'll probably catch hell for this but so be it; it's not like I haven't gone through hell before.
honestly im probably the opposite, i love playing with kids that are like infant age, once they get into that 3,4, and 5 i cant stand them until they are teens haha
but kids those ages especially love me and its like nooo leave me alone but they like my art and all my figures and stuffies they think im cool or somethin

This is quite an interesting point. See strangely I have no issue with wearing what star is wearing out and about. Its just clothing and ive seen much worse on the high street, you can buy things like overalls and cute tshirts and stuff from stores all across the country so I dont see what they're wearing as kink gear.
However...say manda tells star to take the pacifier out of her pocket and suck it in the store. Or exposes the fact shes wearing diapers Im pretty sure star would be using her safeword. Bizarrely the next page sorta covers this exact topic, about why Star is wary around kids.

I remember going to a toy museum once with some friends and one of them started sucking a pacifier as a horde of school children spewed into the venue. I told him to put it away and I really upset him by saying that, but I just dont think its appropriate....Maybe thats very hypocritical of me after some of the things I did in my early twenties, bu ive done a lot of growing since then.
Also...in addition addition....this is just a comic...so some of the things star gets up to later I would never in a million years do in real life. but thats the beauty of comics theyre fantasy and have no real consequences. *hugs*

Nah, I get that it's fantasy. I love good babyfur fantasy works that involve public stuff. It's just that I figured this is supposed to be a realistic take on it all, so I mentioned that this is where I think it'd be my limit. IRL I tend to try and keep out of view. I've played in little clothes on park stuff, but only when it's dark and nobody's around.
