Interdictor Cover
"Hundwick is the home planet of a species of sapient canids whose technology and culture were equivalent to humans of the 19th century. That is, until the now space-faring humans arrived, bringing advanced technology with them. The humans also brought peace to the naturally aggressive hundwickean factions, rendering police and military forces obsolete. With human cooperation, Hundwick was on its way to becoming a paradise. Until it all turned sour.
Now, a new war with another alien species has made the humans withdraw to support Mother Earth, and with only a small population of humans left, the hundwickeans have been left alone. Civil war has broken out and, with no police to halt them, anti-human separatist groups have banded together to rise up against the loyalist government. Society is sliding backwards, crumbling as fast as the advanced, yet finite tools left by the humans, for the hundwickeans who learned to use them never learned the skills required to maintain or manufacture them.
Riots and assassinations have left Admantel “Amel” Yöre, a former naval admiral in charge. His paws are full dealing with the insurrection on one and failing technology on the other. In addition, Amel knows the importance of the humans who chose to remain and make a life for themselves on Hundwick, and he has sworn to protect them and the knowlege they hold. There is growing anti-human sentiment even amongst the loyalists who side with Amel and there are some who would tear a human's throat out, given an excuse.
Aboard the Interdictor, the first large scale space ship 100% manufactured in hundwickean soil, Amel is left to reunify the empire left by his late father, struggle to reunite his family, end the conflicts between the rebels and the loyalists and find out what led the humans to abandon their cooperative and betray his trust.
"
I've kept mostly quiet about this new project, which is awful, it deserves as much promotion as doggishly possible.
Either way, this is a new comic project I had in mind for quite a long while now. However, due to the TGW and college beginning now, I'm not sure I'll be able to work on this one as I originally intended.
So, I want you guys to voice your opinion. Is this a comic you want? Is this a comic you won't pay attention to at all? Is this a comic you would pay money for? Is this a comic you wouldn't read even if it was free? Is this a comic you're interested in?
Let me know what you think of it.
Much appreciated. :)

Hmm...
A sci-fi setting involving humans, and they aren't evil unlike the 99% percent of furry stories where generic misanthropy is the assumed norm?
I am interested.
...
Please don't let 'the secret' be that they're actually evil...

Finish golden week first, so you don't bite off more than you can chew, then think about doing this. But to be honest, I think this project is a bit too ambitious for ya. Like you put filler in a comic about relationship that supposedly spans a week. This spans years and I feel like will have deep moral conflicts which are pretty hard to flush out well enough for it to feel natural. I'm just saying Kimmy think the story through like really through, and it looks like if would be a fun story.
Yeah, my main goal was to have another story already in the motions for when the Golden Week ends. Also, it might feel like fillers, but these aren't; everything happening in the comic now is happening for a reason, so, it's not filler, just a slow paced story.
But thanks for your concerns and input, I will definitely think it through before putting any serious effort into it. :)

I'm a sucker for good sci-fi that doesn't make one side or the other irredeemably evil (at least, not without a good, solid reason, like Tolkien's orcs who were corrupted elves). It seems like you're going for a more nuanced conflict between humans and hundwickians (did I get that right), which is definitely a selling point for me. I'm interested to see if he'll be able to unite his planet and fend off the alien forces threatening his people.
And you don't even have to take anyone's clothes off to get me on board. X3 I may need to follow this. Wish FA let you subscribe to folders! That'd be handy!

Is this the comic I would want to read? Hell, yeah! Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres after all! Who wouldn't want to read Interdictor? But if you're worried about not being able to do it, I recommend doing this after you're finished with The Golden Week and during breaks from college. Nevertheless, I would definitely be interested in reading it.
