Ow I ache all over..... the last thing I can remember was that I was watching Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and the TV Screen started glowing... Why's everything so big? Wait?! Fur?! Spikes coming out of my hands?! OH NO!?!! I've become Lucario!! Ugh my chest! It's like I've been impaled! Geez this is so surreal.. It's like these spikes coming out of my hands and chest really are a part of me. This chest spike makes me feel uneasy though. This fur... It's so soft to the touch.... Feels soo nice to run my paws across it. Need to see myself in the mirror. WOAH!? I... I really am Lucario.... For real. My eyes look so striking. This feels so natural.
Wait a minute.... If I'm Lucario that must mean..... Jesus Christ I actually have Psychic powers?! Really need to be careful with.... NO!!! My LCD TV!!! That's gonna cost a boat load to replace... Heh... I have to admit though that this is kinda fun. I have no idea how i'm going to live in the human world like this though....

Over the past week, this went though several revisions. Initially, I was just going to do a straight Post TF like the others. As this is technically a psychic Pokemon, I really wanted to go the extra mile and put in telekinetic psychic powers in so you can throw objects around to make it stand out a bit more due to the nature of it. With the Leap Motion, it really does feel amazingly natural to throw one object, look over your shoulder and reach out again to grab an object that's just behind you (as long as the Leap Motion behaves itself). I then went over it repeatedly adding new things in like the moveable ears, physics enabled dreadlocks and finally ending with destructable physics props and glass. Looking up at Charizard, it really does feel like he's towering over you ;)
The only bug that I couldn't fix was where the geometry around the eyes kept tearing when I was looking in the mirror. This seemed to be something to do with the framerate and with the way Unity updates the position of the geometry in conjunction with it. Unlike the other models, the models in SSB WII U are split up into sections that the original game replaces depending on what's happening (area around eyes/mouth). It's not noticable if the head is one single geometry model but it seems to stand out if the head is comprised of multiple models. The laser coming out of my right paw was an aid I put in to help with targeting objects.
Destroying the props near the end was soo much fun :)
If you've got any requests for models you'd like to see VR post TF experiences of (preferably humanoid bipedal types), please post a comment down below and provide a link to a model if available.

This is the original source for those particular footstep sounds.

Well the main difficult part of making these is the programming/implementations. The good thing about having the source is that it can be re-used and retailored to suit different things so I may take 2-3 days of researching/implementing a system (in this case the psychic powers system). Such a system can then be recycled for Mewtwo or anything else that has psychic powers saving hours/days of recreating the implementations/system on a per character basis.
With the core systems that I have in place, I can usually get a bipedal character up and running with Leap Motion support in around 20-30 minutes assuming the rig is in good shape. Again resulting in more time savings across the board in terms of producing usable content.
I also have to do a basic live action RP of the scenario/story and sometimes there are the occasional technical problems that can arise. In the case of this video, I think the only part I had to re-film was the scene where I initially walked towards the mirror due to a minor head positioning problem (a recurring problem that is mainly there to prevent motion sickness from occuring). Other than that, the rest of it was pretty much as is :)

For those of you that have an Oculus Rift, I have now uploaded the build that was used to make this. It's been updated to use the final Rift SDK and a download link can be found in the description. It'll work if you don't have a Leap Motion but a Leap Motion is required if you want to look down at your hands and use your psychic powers.
I saw the request information, so here's the model I'd like you to include in a new VR Post TF experience: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfi...../?id=726200863
