i've been trying to do new things to give me some zest when i work - i was caught in a mechanical slump for a few years with my art because sads and anxieties and stuffs, but I'm getting fixed now so it's only natural my art improves too! plus I haven't been drawing as much as I used to so the canvas seems like a fresh new playground instead of tedious, dirty construction

Thank you ;w;~~~ Over the years I started getting really OCD/anal about smoothness in my art to the point it would take me hours to render a square inch to near perfection... to be honest though, it will never have the magical quality of a good ol' sloppy speedpaint. It's just hard to get my head out of my ass when I get in the "OH-GOD-THIS-HAS-TO-BE-DA-VINCI-PERFECT" mode. It's like God's watching or something LMFAO

Oh I totally agree! There's something truly beautiful about a messy visible-brushstroke type painting and sometimes I like it more than a perfectly rendered piece. :D However, in the end it's more about what you're most comfortable with, of course!

I'm lack of words to simply describe my feelings now...from seeing your constant improvements since the past few years, I don't know exactly how much you have been through, but it's been amazing how you never give up on art, and on us. Besides, you said, too, you had to constantly fight against depression... there is the least I can do is to commission you and financially help you feel a little bit better, I guess. I know, everything takes time but eventually, you're going to do the things you're trying to accomplish, and I always believe. You go, girl! :3
