Little kangaroo rat Jay was weak and defenceless.. until he built this! J-Nova Variable Armour, called "Iron Rat" by its creator, is based on the Federation's Nova Armour, but it is even more advanced. It grants the user excellent protection and greatly enhances their strength and mobility. It also has multiple weapons, like Strike Blaster devices mounted on the wrists (they move over knuckles when activated), elbows, knees and feet. They can create powerful blasts of kinetic energy that can greatly damage the target upon impact. Other weapons include a magnetic anchor connected to a nanothread, a pair of plasma daggers and pulse pistols and a variable particle beam rifle that can fire in several different modes - from a concentrated high precision beam to a wide saturation blast that can take out several targets at once. Also the armour has powerful repulsors built into palms and soles - the former can be used for creating a concentrated force shield or to pushing objects from considerable distance, the latter - for "skating" across any terrain with great speed. With right settings they even allow one to "skate" over water. And the armour also seems to have a so-called "Morph Ball" mode, but its functions are shrouded in mystery (it's actually a joke :>).

First and foremost this suit should have been a call out to Iron Man, but it does not really look like Iron Man armour. Well, Metroid was among what inspired me, and also Rockman Zero, Guyver, Tekkaman Blade, manga Blame and Biomega, and pretty much anything that somehow involved suits of powered armour. But I didn't use any particular reference pictures for this suit, just drew what came to my mind.
I see you are the quantity over quality kind of guy. With all those weapons and systems in the armor it would be tricky to choose the right one for the situation. I can see the references you used in designing it.
In my opinion you gave your armor to many systems making it horribly fragile.
Kinda like the Star-Wars A-Wing. It is, small, fast, has good offense and impressive scanning ability but one hit anywhere can knock out multiple systems if not destroy it.

I wouldnt mind possessing armour like that no I would not it even accomodates the users tail. but I could do without all the unescisary canons exept for the knuckle mounted blasters that sounds baddass. while the description made me geek out madman above has a point (although personaly I would have used the TIE hunter as an example but its much more obscure)
