I say that's more because of WoD's changes causing a huge influx of transfers from Horde to Alliance due to the overpoweredness of the early WoD Stoneform (nerfed since), and later the human racial trinket being good enough to allow Human characters to equip two DPS pvp trinkets (also since nerfed). Doesn't help that there was a huge sale on faction/server transfer right around WoD's release.
Horde racials are considered best overall for PvE so not surprised a lot of people do so on that faction. Even though the benefits aren't that big (It's less than ~1% difference between both faction races).

Well again, it's less than a ~1% DPS divide among all the player races for every DPS spec; often ranging a grand total of ~100 DPS between them all, so people should really play Tauren whatever race they like most.
And yeah, I only really use warstomp when I'm tanking or soloing. But at least they finally got rid of the spell pushback for casting it in a recent patch.

I've done it for the purple drake mount you get for "What a long, strange trip it's been" achievement, which basically is a meta-achievement for ALL holiday quest achievements collectively. (Yeah it means at least a full year needs be spent doing seasonals.) Fortunately, the PvP requirement was basically carried by the performance of my pick-up group. I'm sure I did get the kill shot credits required, but way before the objective was over, I got the achievement even despite our side losing. (Horde sucks at PvP at least on Bloodhoof.)
