Sketch i did for maslenitsa which stars on march the 7th and ends on march the 13th.
Maslenitsa is a slavic pagan holiday which is still celebrated nowadays. It's the day when people celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring time. On that day people usually create a fair, play active games like climbing on a frozen pole to get a prize, eat pancakes which represent the Sun itself and of course burn a straw figure which represents winter.
Here Mila and Vera are wearing holiday dresses and even
cmdr-a on the back is a street seller selling dough boobliks (insert pun here)
On Sunday the 13th the last day of maslenitsa is the "Forgiveness Sunday" so if you want to ask people to forgive you for doing something bad to them that's the day to that!
