I was honestly disappointed when seeing Midna's real form too, especially because her personality fit a more... well, kinda "villainous" look, like her smaller "imp" form. I'll always prefer her smaller imp form.
But if this was her original real form, I'd like both. :3

I do like looking at all of the various concept art of Midna, however, I love the final design of true Midna. I disagree on the personality being on the villainous side, she was more of a sass master, and her arc was about learning to care for the realm of light and it's people so I have nowhere this villainous take comes from.
