Celsius made a mistake placing his trust in one of his professors. He expected, when he showed up at Professor Gideon's lab over in the Med and Sci Wing of Empire City University, that he would be able to help the gorilla with a problem he'd casually dropped in the middle of a lecture earlier that week. Something about one of the buildings being quarantined due to something coming up from the sewers and nesting in there. What ended up happening was that the cat was instead forced into a tube filled with this chemical goop that kept him suspended as the gorilla stood by and watched him change... His paws turned furless and leathery, his feet grew more dexterous, his muzzle shifted and changed as his brow pushed out, his whole body soon felt nimble and more athletic... even his tail felt stronger, like it could suspend him, like a new fifth limb...

Now, the ice-cat turned ice-chimp is desperately looking for a cure to Gideon's simian-centric plot to uplift the entire world into a species that he considers to have a higher brain capacity. He might want to hurry... he's pretty sure that some of the new thoughts he's having about how much better he feels as a primate, and that he should just go have a banana and let the plan happen, aren't entirely naturally...
