Wyraptors-;
[Worm raptors]
Wyraptors are mainly aquatic, hind flippers
help them glide through the water effortlessly.
Their slender body, narrow head, and extremely flexible
spines help them maneuver and fit into most tight spaces.
Each Wyraptor has a stone that protrudes from the end of their bodies,
this stone is their hearts, instead of physically pulling blood through them
the stone gives off a small electrical force that pushes and pulls the highly
magnetized blood through their systems. Without their stones they'll die, but the
construct of the stone is harder than diamonds.
Tail Stone Shapes-;
Common; Bud
Uncommon; Rose
Rare; Tulip
Eye Stones-;
The stones on their heads work as their eyes,
it reflects images into the brain which causes them
to have slightly weaker vision, but the stone on their
tails [as well as working as a heart] works as a second eye
giving off an infrared second vision making them
able to see in any environment.
Stone patterns;
1; Blank
2; Stingray
3; Lizard
4; Dragon
5; Octopus
6; Double
7; Square
8; Square w/ Patterns
Square Stones;
The square stones stick out slightly further than the normal round,
letting them absorb more light and image, causing their vision to
be higher than the rest, but it is rare for Wyraptors to have.
Mouth-;
Wyraptors mouths are their main defense.
Black teeth each have their own tiny venom glands which
can inject their toxins on a successful bite of their prey.
Under the tongue is a special gland that can spray their
toxin, reaching distances of up to 14 feet. Their main focus on
ranged sprays is for larger and more dangerous prey,
they'll aim for the eyes or any open wounds on the body.
Tongues-;
Wyraptors almost always have black tongues,
since their body tissue [insides] are also a dark black,
But on rare occasions one will have an alternate color
This is just an unlikely birth defect and doesn't affect them.
Coat Length-;
The thickness of their coats depends only on
where they live. In colder climates the coat is thicker, while
in warmer climates they are thinner, but they are never without a coat.
Body Texture-;
The parts of their body not covered by the coat has a texture
similar to a dolphin or stingray, rubbery. Wyraptors that live most
of their lives on land will develop a small amount of fur to protect their
bodies as they move on the ground.
Length-;
Wyraptors will generally reach up to 20 feet in adulthood,
Their adulthood and breeding age starts around 30 years.
Young Wyraptors grow to 10 feet in their first year, then cap out
to a slow growth until adulthood.
Gender-;
[nsfw info sheet will come soon,
but their is no physical difference between
male and female Wyraptors]
Venom-;
Wyraptors have very strong toxins,
which venom they are born with is up to chance.
Their toxins are-;
-Hemotoxins;
Toxins that attack the blood stream,
stops blood from clotting and producing red blood cells
-Neurotoxins; 2 types
Attacks the nervous system, hyper accelerating nerves causing tremors/seizures
or slowing them down to immobilize their prey
-Acids;
H2SO4 - Sulfaric acid - corrosive acid
HNO3 - Nitric acid
HCl - Hydrochloric acid
[Note; Exaggerated or slightly altered from
actual chemicals and toxins irl]
Diet-;
Wyraptors eat just about anything they can.
Their main diet is fish, but in case they cant access it
they will eat anything that fits into their mouth or
plants/berries they can find nearby.
Their jaws unhinge on the bottom similar to snakes so
they can ingest larger prey, or sometimes for prey too large
they will rip them to smaller pieces for easier consumption.
