An illustration used as the cover of the small press zine Hadrosaur Tales #5, way back in 2000. I redid it a bit in 2003 to mess around with digitally-generated patterns.

Hadrosaur Tales was a small press print zine that survived for 21 biannual issues starting in 1997. I did three covers (issues #2, 4, and 5) and had two short stories published in them (in issues 5 and 21.) Today the zine has become the quarterly Tales of the Talisman, much bigger and glossier, and I did have a short story published by them in 2007. If you know anything about print small press, you'd know how extraordinary such longevity in the field is, and I was always happy tp at least be a small part of it. Check out their current site:
