One Direction - Morning, Harold!
Finished this in January but forgot to post it! I’ve been drawing One Direction as animals for fun. The bunny is Louis Tomlinson and the lion is Harry Styles.
Gonna do these 1D drawings as an excuse to experiment with expressions, posing, and with a more pastel-y palette. :)

Haha. My love for One Direction is probably super unhealthy. 8D;;; I dunno, just an idea that crossed my mind one day and thought it would be fun to play around with. It was originally gonna be my main art dedication until I got sucked back into the world of Canadian politics and started my comic.
It doesn't hurt to go back and forth between the two. :) That way you're not completely focused on one thing for a good while.
I kind of wish I had that similar dedication with something I like, but I've been having all these doubts lately with my art. It's not fun at all. :(

It's tough to make time for other things when you dedicate yourself to releasing art on a scheduled basis. It's challenging and really, really tough. But I love what I'm doing and I'm really happy that I've done so much art for myself so far this year. But definitely will be nice to try and make time for things outside of my comic, if I somehow have time to do so.

As long as you are having fun with it, that's what should count. :) I'm sure you will be able to set aside some time for other personal things. This one for 1D is a start!
I want to say it's how my mood varies. Right now, I look forward to getting back to that body armor idea I shared with you, but not too long ago I did a lot of overthinking on that and another idea. Ever have times where you feel that you've not progressed much in your art despite some praise? That's how I have been on most days, and it's concerned me greatly. :(

There will be more 1D themed art in the near future, for sure. XD;;; And other things, too. Things to come~
Wellllll, praise is one thing. It's good to have praise - it should keep you motivated to want to do more art. But, at the end of the day, when you're doing art it should be for you. When you're an artist, you should constantly want to get better and never settle. You should think about things like, "Am I challenging myself enough? Have I gotten too comfortable? What areas do I need to work on improving?" Think about those things, find something you want to focus on, and go for it. At the same time, you can be challenging yourself WHILE producing themed artwork in the area you want to be working in. :)
