So as we all know it’s tax season and well wouldn’t you know it the hubby and I owe a bit of money. We both managed to make a good bit doing freelance illustration this year, the hubby being full-time and me being part-time, however since it’s our first year filing as freelancers we were not able to pay quarterly in taxes which means we need to pay all at once before April 14th.

We knew this was going to be a thing that would happen, and we calculated for that, however we were not expecting HOW much we would owe in the end. We didn’t make as many business expenses as we wanted, and our indirect expenses took off less than we thought they would too… so, that means what we have put aside isn’t enough to pay the full sum that we owe.
As of this moment we owe roughly $2,200 and all we have in savings is $500, as you can see that’s not enough to pay what we owe. Dan will be meeting with our H&R block helper and seeing if there are a few things we may have missed or could do differently to help lower that, such as our tax expenses from last year and filling as separate verses jointly married but we won’t know the result of any of this till this weekend.

In order to pay off what we owe both Dan and I are open for commissions.

Dan is currently opened for Extreme Level Up Commissions in which these will be wallpaper size widescreen images of your character either sitting within/riding/becoming their own gigantic personalized badass robot/machine.

I am open for ALL types of commissions at this time, I’ll have limited slots for larger pieces as to not get bogged down with too many and to keep my queue moving as fast as it can. I will do my best to get these pieces out at a steady pace and done at a reasonable time.
I do have a queue at this moment, those pieces will be taken care of first and respectfully so. If you do not wish to wait till I finish these then I am sorry for that and hope you do consider coming back at a later date when I have less panic on my plate.
