you know i heard instead of holding hands now a day i heard a lot just let the woman in labor hold three fingers from the index finger down to the one next tothe finger.cause its less painful for the person hand.. i guess that all and good to save a hand but it kinda takes away from the holding hands and helping with the whole labor thing.
