Back...kind of! I'm taking a bit of a break after working non-stop on this, it was tempting to work on other art when I was doing this but I wanted to focus on this! I certainly hope it was worth the wait.

I know this must have taken forever to do but I still hope one day you'll re-open at least for single pics. It made me sad to see you stop so suddenly and your work is friggin gorgeous. As for now though. Take a much needed break.

It did take forever, this page alone was started around Christmas and only got finished last week. The first page was started all the way back in June and took a crazy long time too. After all that I feel a mix of relief and some accomplishment but at the same time I can't help but feel maybe the commissioner wasn't so happy with the result. Perhaps I'm just reading too much into the lack of comment but I can't help but think maybe I failed somewhere.

Sorry you wanted a piece from me before I closed but I have no desire to ever open again or take art trades again either. It may seem selfish but after 10 years of doing commissions and trades (often with the other person never drawing their half...) I really just want to focus on my own things.

Thanks a bunch though. I think I underestimated how challenging this comic would be when I took it on, and my laptop certainly suffered for it (the file was like 160+mb...) but I loved every second of it. As you said, I'd say it was the perfect fit for the final one. I wouldn't have it any other way <3

The dragon is actually male, he is just incredibly effeminate and often wears make-up/drag - I know it probably is confusing!

But oh my god the idea of him spitting up an entirely different person is hilarious, like "how many people does he have in there?!"

While commissions are indeed a no-go now (can you believe I've taken them for almost 10 years?! I'm drained now but it's been a heck of a run) I have literally - and no joke, seriously - hundreds of unfinished pictures so don't worry about a shortage of art! I have said it before but the cliché "Big one-dimensional jerk predator who eats everyone, grab and gulp style" is just so boring to me, I think when the pred actually has flaws or doesn't even mean to eat people it makes it so much more appealing. Now Ryuu is of course a predator, we've all seen him seduce dates so he can eat them - but that's not the case all the time! He COULD have just let Jay continue to be pulled deeper into his innards and got an easy dinner but he didn't want to eat his playmate, he's having too much fun with him to do that yet so considering how strong his insides are once they get working it's easy to see why he got so panicky. Ryuu is a diva and a bit of a clumsy doofus at times but he has a heart of gold and I think it shows here <3

Acknowledging that it's a taste is important. Like, cliches for this bizarro autoerotic fixation? cmon man, how counter-culture you gotta be thinking of that enough to knock it a "cliche".

The most fun part about Ryuu is how his dimensions and design make for fun and interesting perspectives. None of your panels are concerned with a perspective rule, but they are all interesting. You make him seem tall and imposing when you want to, and show off how really slender he actually is when he's come up out of the side of the pool for example. I wish I could go on and on about this, why I love Ryuu so much. He's a neat and prettiful dragon and his take on swallowing people is so sensual. Mingled in with the juxtaposition of REAL CONSEQUENCES, and showing his integrity to not just consume and destroy. I mean even if it is for a self-serving reason as keeping his favorite toy alive, it's not as if he's making Jay's life a living hell.

Perhaps terrifying and bleak at times, but for crying out loud the dragon's such a hedonist. Setting up all these intimate times and showering him with affection. The internal monologue he was having when his accidental slip up nails him to a letter.

The amount of composure he has to talk and comfort Jay, who may or may not even be able to hear him, just plays perfectly on the suspense. Which, with a lung dragon, really is a treat. Every second he delays is another inch closer to disaster he came.

dont even get me started on how great having some lip product is. <3 Those lips were made for smooching

Apologies if my comment about clichés struck a raw nerve - well half an apology since we're all allowed opinions and I'm not afraid to voice mine and can come across as blunt often. I actually did mean to type "everyone has their own preferences and I respect that but personally I just don't enjoy it so much anymore". Hope that clears it up, I didn't mean it maliciously!

Ryuu, well ANY Eastern dragon, always makes drawing body poses and angles really fun. It's a lot of freedom to work with but also a challenge. Canonically Ryuu is 70ft long when laid flat and stretched out fully so sometimes fitting him on a page let alone tiny comic panels can be a nightmare! But you mention the low angle shots to make his size imposing and I think the fact he's so big most his body is out of shot adds to that.

It makes you wonder how long he intends to have Jay around and what he plans to do with him in the long run, especially after what he says in the final panel about never letting him leave. Of course it could just be him caught up in the moment and he could let him leave his cave one day...but then again he's a very self indulgent dragon who.loves pampering and smothering others while being the centre of attention himself so he could try to keep him around as long as he likes ;)

As for his lips and smooching that's always a pleasure and he's certainly not reserved when it comes to using them! They're definitely fit for the job so he may as well flaunt them, right? <3

I must smooch this dragon. It is my goal in life.

I will still be drawing similar things to this although probably not giant detailed comics, way too draining. I actually have several animations in the works, all involving this handsome noodle, I'll be putting those up when I consider them good enough.

Great work, it's just great. But I think I'm lacking... Why did Ryuu freaked out?

He didn't mean to eat the skunk, he accidentally swallowed him when he was sucking the chocolate off him - that's why he panicked and freaked out :)

That I got, and to be honest I love this idea.
... I'm probably overthinking but, Ryuu said he don't want skunk to get "stuck" in his stomach. Like he couldn't spit Jay after.
And that got me a little confused, and interested in his backstory / abilities.

Ohhhh right, gotcha! The idea is that being an Eastern dragon his innards are incredibly long so if his prey reaches a certain point inside him, especially his stomach, it'd be too hard/long for him to regurgitate them back out. His stomach is super stubborn and once someone's in their it's beyond his control...his body does need nutrients after all ;)

Ooh, I'm late. :S Fear not; you know I saw this on Twitter and was rather in awe of it. First impressions have certainly lasted; now that I've got time to look at this properly, there's a million things I could say about how absolutely wonderful this is. And funnily enough, the very first thing I noticed was how much you've progressed AGAIN in drawing liquids! That chocolate looks thick and viscous, absolutely the right sort of texture! I've also got to say, about that first panel, that perspective is perhaps the best you've achieved. The perception of depth in the piece is outstanding and does make Ryuu look gigantic. Of course it's obvious, me saying that Ryuu is big, but that impression has really branded itself on my brain with that first panel. ^^ Same again on the sixth panel, seeing the rest of Ryuu's body (at least, that which isn't bathing in chocolate), how you've managed to get across Ryuu's size in one panel is very effective.

I still love the addition of those 'sound words' as you know. Although I don't fancy myself getting eaten by a dragon (personal opinion only! D: ) I can't help but repeat all those sounds in my head, imagining that character getting swallowed and...well, so on, so forth. XD But as well as that (and I know, broken record mode engaged), the facial expressions tie up perfectly. And as I look more at this comment, I believe more and more that you've gotten even better with the expressions there. I'm looking up really close to these panels and, taking the third one as an example, seeing how you define really subtle creases around Ryuu's jaw is the cherry on the cake as far as expressions are concerned. Speaking of which, it is jaw dropping how, on a piece of art of mammoth proportions such as this, you still make sure to define and perfect every tiny little detail. Like in all these panels, the tiniest little bit of shine on Ryuu's lips, so small that my face is right up against my laptop to see them. It's a testament to your eye for detail to create the absolute best drawing you can.

As you know, I've been on the lookout for these hidden insights into this world in your art and I have to ask more about those lights which can be seen outside Ryuu's cave? I'm presuming they're the Yunmues'?

And one last thing, this being your last commission. Oh my, what an extraordinary trip this has been. If you were in any doubt, let that be cleared up now: you've come on light years with your work buddy. The fact that I'm still gushing over your art just as I was when I first found you must say something; I've been working on my art for that three years two but I've made nowhere near the amount of progress you've made. It seriously makes me so happy seeing your work and how utterly fantastic it is. Those who have commissioned you over the years are some very lucky people indeed and if they aren't cherishing what you've drawn for them, then I question their ability to value art, because yours is stunning. Very well done and congratulations! I'm so excited to see the next leg of your art journey!

Provided Ryuu doesn't catch you and demand attention first, that is! But hey, I'm sure he can be distracted by me drawing him soon ^^

I know you usually comment on my art but I just want to thank you for always taking the time to construct such lengthy posts, it means a lot to me that you inspect all the details and like it enough to say what you think of it. It sure does make all the hours I put into art seem worth it :)

Believe it or not but the reason why I improve is because I take all your suggestions and critique on board when I can, so thanks for that. Oh, and taking more time on things and pacing myself helps! I also look at concept art books and professional animators to get inspiration, it's never a bad thing to see how others do it.

Those lights are actually gem gleams and sparkles from one of the quartz rooms deeper in his cave, so it's not outside! I plan to one day properly draw it, probably with Ryuu getting all blissful and admiring his own reflection in the turquoise crystal walls (the whole room is crystallised so that's a lot of vanity time ;D). I'm sure the noodle allows the Yunmue in these purdy rooms too! Going back to taking your comments on board, I like the idea of the Yunmue using staffs with lights on them when it's dark - those that are brave enough to go out when it's dark, that is...

As a last commission I don't think there could've been a better choice, Wesker's ideas were always so unique. I really would love to carry on working with him and others but among other things the insane amount of time these things take is never worth the low price. I know furs can't help it but they don't usually have much money and artists here really are ripping themselves off with their prices. But moving on from that, yeah definitely way too exhausted to take them now.

I saw that, you butt! Well I look forward to that - you know Ryuu will love the attention of him being your art subject, posing and fluttering his eyelids at you ;) <3

Woah, he has a big cave then... Gotta go exploring! I'm not surprised his cave acts as one enormous mirror room. That sounds typical Ryuu to me. I mean, how else can he make the fur on his back end look as sleek and shiny as the rest?!

So you'll have to forgive little ol' me for not leaving a comment on this spectacular art piece at the time of release! D: Sometimes mustering up the right words can be difficult depending on how work is treating oneself.

First and foremost; I ADORE how feminine Ryuu looks every time we see him. I personally think it's a testament of your art style evolving over time and now Ryuu is refined into a young beauty! I guess Jay's time with Ryuu has brought out the girlish side of the noodle dragon more and more! It becomes more and more apparent why Jay has such a hard time leaving that lair, whether or not Ryuu will let him. :-P

The goopy chocolate effect seriously looks like real chocolate throughout this comic! It made me crave something sweet every other time I glanced at this monolith sized commission. As always, the sweetest parts involve Ryuu, those massive lips, and Jay getting REAL close to them. :P It's quite a venture to have Jay actually going down Ryuu's gullet for the first time, but luckily our happy noodle had control over his bodily functions that day!

The kisses are uber sexy and cute, Jay being pinned down and covered in chocolate kisses is SUPER hot, and just the wondrous cliffhanger we end our skunk and blue dragon on is always entertaining. Sadly, we know how things will go eventually, but this kinda comic is something that demonstrates how crazy Jay's last year with Ryuu has been.

Thanks so much for putting SO much time and effort into all these comics! This one is quite the crowning achievement and I'm truly grateful for the above and beyond service! May your weary hands rest soundly from this point on, until you pick up and pencil again. :P

It's okay, if anything you should be apologising to Ryuu - he was probably impatiently tapping his claws on the ground and getting all huffy while he awaited his self-entitled flattery from you about how gorgeous he is. Such a vain dragon, that Ryuu...

I think you're right in that his appearance has definitely changed over time as my art progressed. Originally he was just a cookie cutter predator character - albeit a very handsome one - intended for not much more than the occasional vore piece. Oh how times changed! He's obviously still very much a predator (in numerous ways, huehue) except now he's much more fabulous and ever the diva, also pretty much obsessed with his looks and glamming up with makeup...and I think it suits him perfectly. I wouldn't have it any other way. I think you're also right about Jay's impact, you can pretty much guarantee Ryuu had planned to eat the skunk in that first comic but then he became sidetracked and had a change of heart when he realised just how intriguing and fetching Jay was. It's like seeing Jay reawakened all his girly ways and had an overload of excitement, "What lipstick to wear? What colour would leave a good kiss mark on his fur? He likes deep pink...I have deep pink eyeshadow and lipstick! Oh! Oh! And also..." etc XD. And thus the noodle became infatuated and Jay's life was never the same again! He became a smooching lip guinea pig or canvas if you will.

The chocolate was something I enjoyed immensely, thanks for giving my the chance to finally work with such delightfully goopy ooze - made better by the sass-derg slinking through it and coating it on his lips. Which naturally he has to share with his skunk boy! ;) Now we know he has a giant chocolate vat in his lair I think it'd be rude not to show him indulging in it again...

Kisses are always fun to draw especially when done by the well-endowed and suited Ryuu! Good thing he loves smooching so much, he'd strap Jay right to his lips if he could. The best ones are when Jay's head practically vanishes into those plump glossy pillows <3

Thanks a million once again for commissioning me so much and sharing these great ideas with me - the fact you liked Ryuu enough to do so means a lot to me too <3 Regarding "What we know is coming" I think I may change the tone so it ends on a happier note instead of a legit heart broken dragon. I'll explain elsewhere!
