I was commissioned by Ivg-105 to draw his OC, Saiya Vesterius.
Once again, it took me much longer than necessary to make this picture, but I do hope you don't mind that.

The character was said to be a general or high ranking officer of an armoured division, much like Rommel was. I decided to play with this Rommel reference, and create a desert environment. There were ideas of adding more, such as tanks in the background or a pair of those old school protection goggles, but I scrapped them as they were very distracting and made the picture crowded.

There is a noticeable difference in style between the character and the background, mainly because the background was purely based on my shallow imagination while the character, and her appearance - including anatomy, clothing - was given. I still need to practice how to stylize well.
