Celesta Sonatina in a Different Synthetic Heptatonic Scale
Okay, the idea for this came from the same place as the Synthetic Violin Duet http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1903247
But this time instead of centering the scale around making augmented chords, this time it was around diminished chords. It's similar to the other one in that the tonic can be used as the root of the equivalent of a diminished, minor or major chord, meaning you can make a very versatile piece.
This scale was constructed like a Locrian scale (ergo, the diminished quality) except the 4 and 6 scale degrees are diminished so a major chord is possible.
Since I've not come up with formal names for these synthetic scales, I'll just call the first one S-1 and this one S-2 for now. :P
This Celesta Sonatina is in CS-2, and so the scale looks like this:
C, Db, Eb, Fb, Gb, Abb, Bb. So it's heptatonic like the other one and theoretically could be written within a single "key signature" if you want to call it that, even though isn't really a "key".
This piece is really cute, and I adore celestas. I hope y'all like it. :)
Repeat: Please don't commandeer this scale (or the other one!) for your own use, or at least without getting permission from me first.
