This one really made me laugh, from the Munch reference, to Anubis eating his own fungus (Yuck! Only a dog would do that!), to his referring to Sans as "That!"
And the Russian doll, too. :)
A few pointers, though, about English:
The expression, "hands down," means "with ease, easily"... as in, "I can say, with hands down, that Ammit needs to take better care of himself."
Instead, Anubis would say, "Hands off!"
Also, English can be very unforgiving when it comes to the continuity of number: "the dead" is used for the plural, and so, "If their hearts weighed more than a feather, they [or even better, these] were fed to the monstrous Ammit, and their souls were sent into Duat, the Egyptian Hell."
Hmmm. That would explain Ammit's weight problem. :)

I used to hear people say "hands down" quite often during my childhood, but in the past few decades? Hardly ever. Perhaps in other parts of the world. :)
>>Aaargh! the Off's and on's again... I'll never learn! :D
Recently, I paid a visit to one of my old universities, where I had a nice conversation with a very intelligent (and beautiful!) graduate student from Russia. Her English was very good, but she still had trouble with idioms.
"English is impossible!" she said. "What is this nonsense: walk down the street, walk up the road? I am not walking up or down, I am walking flat!"
Good point. :)
