Interesting. Dark. Sad. Very good read, and I have to say it was an experience. The ending is difficult, as you let the cub die. People want simple stories with simple morals, and that just doesn't fit very good into that frame. On the other hand, the heroic lion sacrificed himself. Interesting, if nothing else. Good story, this made me ponder. Great work.
