Now THIS was a fun one. The person who commissioned this piece didn't have a reference yet, but their character was a doberman with space-themed markings. We put the solar system on his side/belly and then I put stars on his back, and thankfully it all came together really nicely. I'm tempted to make a sketchy gift of this character. It's such a cool concept and I'd love to put some actual constellations on his back.
