A tip for backlit fur - it'll only be brilliantly backlit if nothing is behind it. If applied to the internal lines, it should ideally die down a little bit - and the backlighting should only be as long as the fur is long, for optimum.

That said, I love these Art Deco Caryatid muscles, and the pose brings the best out in him.

I appreciate your advice, I can really use it. I've been struggling with rimlights for a while now, and I find them harder to apply when there's no lineart like here. I looked at examples of how other artists do them, but it seems there are different schools of how to do them, and studying all those styles only confused me, I guess XD
