If you look at an Accomdanih, theres no way you can tell what it thinks or feels like. They have no facial muscels --> no mimic, so no chance of visible emotions. Is it relaxed, or ready to jump at you to ripp you apart? this fuckin would freak me out. and thats the whole point ;D
The Tyraeli are no animals actually. They're a intelligent race with culture, religion and of course speech.
The Accomdanih though, which is the biggest warrior class, are way less intelligent than the other classes (Arazawo, Aluerkawo and Aldaimatsu). They can't really speak and act more like animals.

That is a fascinating concept - no visual emotive cues. It's nearly unheard-of in sighted creatures. All other designs make for a creature that still could have body language - quite a lot of tail to posture, unsure if the spines sticking up from the back can be postured at all; of course tone of speech and how they hold their body on their limbs and what they do with their toes (fidget, tap, scratch, etc.). Then there could be scent cuts a human nose cannot detect - any number of pheromones mixed and blended, released by various parts of the body, or even pressed into the ground by foot or hand pads, tail, etc.
The language of emotion is quite complex. I wonder what a Xenopsychiatrist might have to say about the issue.
