No, it wasn't. I mean, yes, there was always some grinding involved if you wanted to get things for free, but it was never this bad. Now you can run a mission literally hundreds and hundreds of times and still not get the part you need, not to mention needing to farm for keys. It was already starting to get pretty bad, but when they sold out to that Chinese company the grind got much, much worse. That's when I stopped playing the game.
