Introducing the other main char of the story
nimtai and I are working on, set in a retro-futurustic alternate universe where WW2 never broke out in a massive scale.
The girl sitting here is Rohara Novak, a Croatian-born genet, sniper of a specialist Italian squad, enjoying a moment of piece a world full of paranoia and distrust.
Here overall proportions and character design are obsolete now, but drawing her really made us want to work on this universe further, so it's a really special piece for both of us. ^^
The perspective is a bit wonky here and there, but I've learned my lessons here C:

Yep, pretty much; With no WW2, and the world being in a state of cold war, new technologies like ballistic rockets, jet engines, advanced computers have not yet been invented, while the old ones kept getting perfected over time; electronics getting smaller, much more efficient combustion engines, advanced aviation, you name it.
I can't get enough of your work. The details in the boots and the setup of the gun against the figure really adds to the natural feel of this whole piece. Your backgrounds really flow with the characters and they just feel like they truly belong in the setting. I love your compositions too.
