So at 7:00am on the Monday 22nd February, my brain decided it wanted to be creative and put in motion a character design after discovering the red and white giant flying squirrel from Asia. This all came from my imagination with no reference except inspiring from kemono in style. I went to bed after doing the first image but when I woke I quickly put together some body details because I suck at just doing a full reference. Had to be on pieces of sketchbook paper just incase I didn't like the colour scheme. It's really rough and coloured on very awful paper so it will look very tatty. I will be creating a much more clean and detailed digital reference. It would be cool to keep as I can see it being an amazing kemono suit I'd definitely invest in creating.

His name is now Ren, and slowly but surely, I am building up a profile for him. He's going to be a very stubborn, broody male fursona which will reflect aspects of my INTP personality as well as have his own spice. It'll be nice to show the different side of me, a side that is slightly sensitive, closed off; an emotional young side of me. If I could compare him to anyone, he would be Sasuke from Naruto; moody, aggressive in looks, a wallowing wandering soul.

I literally cannot wait to draw him more and guess what? He gets his own Kabuki mask and will have many many cameos in my future artworks and web comic plans. ;D

Ren is designed by me and belongs to me alone. As far as I am aware he is pretty original. I do not own the animal species and I would permit anyone to make their own flying squirrel! THEY ARE SUPER CUTE SO LOOK THEM UP GUYS.
