I absolutely love this piece! The outfits are just perfect, and i adore that little wolfs paw sigil. The details are stunning. I love the eyes, the expresssions, the slight hint of friendly sibling malice in their play. Thank you so very much for the work you put into this, I love how it came out.
Dunno if you follow my Facebook page but I'd actually sketched up something completely different and then when I went back and read over your note I was like SHIT. I had completely forgotten about the snowball fight. lol So I whipped up a brand new sketch and I think it was actually better and more fun than what I'd done originally. Everyone over there seemed to enjoy it, and here too. :)
while I don't follow you ( I try to use the book of faces as little as possible for... reasons) I do peek in to see what works in progress you have. I am sorry there was some initial loss of time on your part, but I agree, this one is quite wonderful. I am sure we can resurrect the other at some point. you seemed to have quite a nice idea, and I wouldn't mind seeing it finished, though it will have to wait till it is back in the budget.
Yeah, I saved that first sketch just in case you or someone else ever poses that idea to me. As long as I spent on it I'd hate to just scrap it. lol As far as time loss, oddly enough that second sketch only took maybe 5 or 10 minutes. I wasn't trying to ref from another pose, I just kinda made it up as I went and it surprisingly came out rather easily. Art is just funny like that, some things are ridiculously hard for no reason, and then some things flow right out of the pencil. >u<
