🦈 Goblin Sharks: A Species Guide 🦈 [EDITED]
[D&D Sheet] now available!
Masterlist
~*Concept*~
A simple idea combining... goblin sharks... and goblins!! These guys use "Gobshark(s)" as their unique tag, and can be referred to as either Goblins or Sharks.
~*Open Species//MYO*~
[Edit]!!; due to peoples concerns I will be changing these to an open species. This is my first time making a more in-depth sheet so there are a lot of things for me to learn and mistakes to be made. However I'll be keeping their name as "Goblin Sharks" or else the play on words doesn't work; see "Gobshark" as their unique tag/name.
Otherwise, here's some supplementary info about Goblin Sharks:
~*Additional Traits*~
Gobsharks can have a different combination of gills on the neck and/or ribcage; In example, three gills on each side the neck, two on each side of the rib cage.
Webbing on the hands is usually receded but can have varying lengths from shark to shark.
~Other Info*~
They're meat eaters but aren't opposed to things like fruits and veggies (if they're prepared the right way), especially in times of need.
They often boop noses of other sharks in their clan as a way of greeting (like how sharks bump their noses into things to see what it is). They may boop noses with other races if they happen to be especially close.
Gobsharks have a decent sense of hearing thanks to their goblin-like ears; their sight excels in low-light settings while bright lights hurt their eyes. They have a minimal "6th" sense thanks to their "electroreception" or "electrolocation" which works better when they're in the water.
~*Setting*~
Goblin Sharks are free to use in any setting, but obviously work and fit best in a D&D-type fantasy setting.
They have an affinity to water and are most comfortable traversing along rivers or staying in areas with open water.
~*Have Questions?*~
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about these guys and I'll be happy to answer!
Hope you guys like these guys! <3

Heya! Obviously an "anthro shark" can't really be a closed species, it's more just the idea surrounding these particular ones that I've decided to keep as a closed, per-basis idea. AKA their traits (noses, ears), mannerisms (rogues, thiefs, delinquents, clan or family based). Hope that makes sense!
not exactly, those are all things that could be added to a regular anthro shark aswel;; don't get me wrong, I like your design and idea but I don't see it as a closed species???
it's kind of like khajiits from the elderscrolls, they're pretty much anthro cats but are their own species and have their traits that make them more unique from what a normal anthro cat would be (for example the world they live in, their accents and other storybased stuff) (And they're not a closed species because games)

You could get into contact with SCPkid cos I know they've done something similar to this with an open species (I think plane dragons?).
Aa thank you! I'd love to see them if you do! To your question I don't see why not, for me I've done a less extreme variation of a hammerhead here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24578897/ it's more like a bonnetshark now that I think about it but it's there in case it gives you any ideas!
ayyeee I made a gobshark!
These guys are so cool, I just had to!
