Good ol' Commander Tia on board of the Scylla; once a huge Japanese submersible aircraft carrier, now serves as the main vessel and HQ of the unit.
Tia here is actually showing some skin, as I wanted to depict her a living being rather than an walking uniform. Even though I had to redraw her completely a couple times, it was fun as I got closer and closer to my original idea. C:
The background here took me pretty much no time, as I really enjoy drawing machinery and chipped-off paint, and rust. The colouring is also spot on, with the contrast being right and the colours working together. The only thing it's lacking is a proper edge to it, but I liked the result so much I didn't change a thing in the end.
Enjoy! C:

Aw man I really like her design, especially her long, sinewy neck there. I can really imagine it moving around as she does with smooth, organic movements. And I especially love the background and her outfit as well! I always loved this sort of sci-fi setting, the kind of grungy, mechanical, submarine-in-space look you see in Aliens and Cowboy Bebop.
