Not every assignment the Transnational Glacis Consortium gets is a world-changer. While the Big Three, the legendary trio of Spotzkrieg, Platemail and Zodiac, get headlines screaming praise or condemnation for their battles, another ten earth-shaking supertitans are just doing their jobs.
Agent Cyclone has gotten a break. Instead of military duty or chasing cartel around the foothills, she's gotten light duty for a change. All she has to do is babysit a mining town, make sure the shorter giants don't do anything stupid when they get drunk or unionized. But someone's leaving anti-size graffiti around town. She doesn't much like that, and she wants to have a quiet conversation with whoever's responsible.
---
The long-awaited (it is long-awaited, right?) fifth Hazard Pay story. This one isn't really part of the ongoing timeline, so it doesn't get a number. Just a fun side piece.
My thanks as ever to the people who actually read this stuff, each installment, and even more for the souls who generously donate brainpower to prepreading, revising, and making suggestions.

I'm pleasantly surprised someone dug this story up from the archives. Hazard Pay was a great pleasure to write, both the actual stories and all the brainstorm and calculation and worldbuilding around it for everything from titan history and catalogues to how much meat a supertitan would need. All the feedback the series got was very important to me- not just the praise, but the constructive criticism along the way. Whatever skill I've got in writing came largely from working on that series, and I couldn't have done it without beta readers and fans.
I haven't forgotten Zodiac, Plate, Spotz, and Dispatch. It's been a long time since I did anything with them, but you never know what might come up! Thank you so much for the sentiment.
