It usually costs me about $10 for a 2 pound brick of Shea butter glycerin at the store, but it takes 4 oz to make 1 bar. Then coloring and scents add extra.
Honestly what I did was buy a starter kit for $20, then just replaced things as I use them. I also get scents online.
