Hey guys, a new month and new blend to dig into. :3
Decided to into this blend to give more props to my buddy Garret AKA Hoondog.
Hope he likes this month's review.
AVO Classic Toro:
Wrapper: Ecuador Connecticut
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic
Pre-Light/Construction:
Appearance is everything they tell you in life, not always, but still in retrospect. This particular stick itself was definitely something to ponder upon its look. The wrapper, light as it was, had a god color in age. Somwhat rought, but smooth at the same time for a light cigar. The veins were barely there while the seems were VERY visible. The band however got me thinking. The A, V, and O all in one formation. Like some codes or symbols for secret societies or other emblems to represent something big and important. This ought to be good. :3
The Burn Part 1:
The first few puffs were light and earthy with a bit of pepper. A little denser than some Connecticut wrappers. A bit of creamy notes soon followed out as well. I luckily had myself a cup of coffee that Sunday morning. Went great with my pallet upon smoke. Peppy still it made a pleasant first beginning.
The Burn Part 2:
The earthy pepper notes started to become more floral. Body was still in the light to medium area, not complaining either way. The cream became a little more vibrant following the other change. Pretty much at this point of the cigar, it's mainly staying simple and classy.
The Burn Final:
Like the 1st and 2nd, not much has changed except for the pepper and floral noted backing off a little with the cream notes making the finish line as the top note. The final puff finnished cool and I again buried it in the ashtray with a smile before heading back in the house for more arting.
Verdict:
A MUST GET for simple and regular cigar smokers. The name itself goes great with what it delivers. A Classic Smoke for a Classy Individual. IF you guys see this one, get it!
