Something I cooked up just before Christmas. Bit different from my normal 80's rock, kinda mellow-ish, but not entirely. Citing the band I work with as an influence in this one. www.myspace.com/blackjacket00 Also, in the pre-chorus the bass and chord progression reminds me of "Rooster" by Alice in Chains, awesome song, awesome band. Probably the use of chorus in it and this song, plus I think it might be in the same key.
Tossed a little chorus on the bass this time, atleast in the verse and pre-chorus', as suggested a while back on another submission, I think by
triggerhare. I cleaned up the automation in the transition from clean to distortion guitar, still a smidge off, but that'll get tweaked. Drums are all Addictive Drums now, been busy converting everything over to them.
Just need a solo and some lyrics thrown on this piece and I can call 'er done. Also, there's a time change in here! Not often I do that. Also, I hate uploading stuff at 128kbps, but the submission thing times-out on me, even if it's only 160kbps >:I. Cheers

Yes! An Addictive Drums convert-ee. :D
Might experiment with taking the volume of the chorused portion of the guitar at the beginning and boosting the bass a bit. I'd also take down the loudness of the hats so you can push the overall volume up.
Mostly personal taste things though.

Ya, I've been messin' around with this a bit since I posted the WIP. I've since randomized the velocity of all the drum bits, along with adding/improving fills and bouncing it all to audio. Solo and a good mix is all thats really left for this guy.
I gave a 320 version to Trigger to see what he comes up with in the solo section, and I've got my Les Paul back, so I can have a go at it too.
