My third zootopia fanart. Until now I've seen it 4 times on cinema, and definitely I'm going to buy it on bluray. Disney is going to make me poor.
A scene I was working on while I was sick, instead work on my pending commissions as I supposed to do, I'm doing this picture.
Gideon, the fox's pies, was a very interesting character, and plays a very important issue that many of us may feel identified either side of him, or Judy.
When someone tries to snatch your dreams, but you keep going, and you don't care obstacles, those are which make you stronger.
Or when you look to the past, and you realize your mistakes, and you don't know if people that you hurted before will suffice for them a pardon, and if that forgiveness really interests them, or it's just to feel at peace with yourself.
The past is which molded us who we are, but ultimately are ourselves who decided what to be in this life.
If you want to be elephant, become an elephant!

Yes good work but yes a spoiler for those who haven't seen it yet. Something based on what's in the trailers, which are available for all, is fine, such as the sloth at the motor vehicle

esta bien, no hay que ser perfeccionista en las cosas que uno puede comentar, uno nunca sabe que pueda pasar en un futuro, muchas veces hay encuentros de ese estilo y hay unas veces en que las personas se concilian e incluso se vuelven amigos, era solo un comentario.
Y por decir en si, Zootopia es una magnifica pelicula, solamente con mi comentario queria decir eso.

Claro que fue una gran película!! Ya la he visto varias veces en el cine, y no me cansaré de verla cuando salga a la venta en VHS!!

Realmente Paco, Zootopia marcará las generaciones de hoy así como las películas clásicas animadas nos marcaron... Zootopia es una belleza!!! en todo sentido!!!, la historia, los personajes, la animación, la canción de Shakira, el mensaje que les deja a los chicos... es una película que dará mucho de qué hablar, aparte de lo que ya se ha hablado... esta escena en especial me encanta porque al principio de la película Gideon es el típico personaje que todos habremos conocido en nuestra infancia.. nunca pensé que Gideon tomara esa actitud tan hermosa con Judy.. así como Gideon hay muchísimos quienes nos obstaculizan nuestros sueños, pero Judy fue persistente y logró su objetivo, pero no pasó lo mismo con Nick, quien fue ridiculizado y, vale el término, traumado, de una manera que él no pudo superar y es por eso que su actitud ante el mundo... el perdón es una virtud tan difícil que no todos la podemos practicar, pero no imposible..... Felicitaciones de nuevo Paco!!!!!.......
En mi opinión, pienso que quien hizo mucho mejor de esos tres personajes fue Judy, quien a pesar de todos los obstaculos, tuvo la determinación suficiente para alcanzar su sueño, sin importar quién era ni de dónde venía.
El perdón de Gideon nunca lo necesitó Judy, es cruel pensarlo así pero si nunca hubiera aparecido Gideon de nuevo en la vida de Judy, a ella no le hubiera afectado en nada, así como a mi no me apetece que los que me hicieron bullying en la escuela cuando yo era niño lleguen ahora y me pidan perdón. Esas disculpas fueron más para hacer sentir bien a Gideon, quien vivió siempre con eso, y apenas vio a Judy, y no pensó en otra cosa que querer arreglar las cosas.
Nick tuvo un problema similar a Judy, llegaron otros y le tumbaron sus sueños, pero él se rindió, a él le afectó. Será que a los hombres nos afecta más la humillación que a ellas?
A mí muchas veces me quisieron tumbar mis sueños del dibujo, yo siempre he dicho "pero los ignoré y seguí adelante, y ahora me dedico a lo que tanto me gusta", pero no fue así de sencillo, sí me afectaba, es dificil ignorar a las personas de nuestro alrededor, y pesó mucho que se hayan burlado de mí, que me arruinaran tantos dibujos, que no me bajaran de gay por hacer lo que hacía.
Al final, cada quien pudo encontrar su camino, Gideon en los pasteles, y Nick, con ayuda de Judy, pudo ser alguien en la vida. Muchos pueden superar los obstaculos por cuenta propia, y otros necesitan ayuda.

No, Paco, para nada!!!.. me gusta mucho lo que escribiste!!!.. es verdad que Gideon tuvo que vivir con esa culpa toda su vida, y a Judy nunca le afectó, sólo se olvidó de ello y se concentró en su objetivo.. por eso la película se centra en ella y su lucha.. y también es cierto que a Nick le afectó profundamente lo que le hicieron.. el que sea a los hombres o a las mujeres eso es indiferente, lo que realmente importa es el espíritu que nos impulsa, que nos motiva, los sueños que jamás abandonaremos, seamos hombres o mujeres....
A veces las personas que más queremos son los que nos tumban los sueños diciendo que no es práctico, que no es real, que pienses en otra cosa.. y cosas así.... pero la pasión por algo está por encima de todo..
Todos encontraron su camino y su vocación, así es, y debemos aprender de ellos, en especial las nuevas generaciones, que son muy susceptibles... y no digas que es un spam de palabras, Paco, todo tiene coherencia.....

I really liked that scene where Gideon was re-introduced, and apologizes sincerely for the way he treated Judy in the past.
Truth be told, it reminded me of a scene in The Mentalist where there is a mystery at a high school reunion, and one of the former bullies apologizes to a classmate he used to bully, but then reminds him of the mean things he used to call him, and the other guy get drunk and punches the former bully in the face. There's a big difference between apologizing for past misdeeds you never really outgrew, and apologizing sincerely for the way you used to be.

But the real gold in this movie is in the interactions between and character growth of Nick and Judy.
So a good sequel would keep the focus there. And whilst we'd certainly see more of that gorgeous city it'd be where it was this movie, a backdrop for the characters to interact in.
Which is exactly how it should be, and why this movie is so good!

I printed this out and posted it on my bedroom wall.
The use of color, layout, and detail in this is excellent, and I think this is some of the best work you've ever done. Perspective might be a tad off, but regardless this is the kind of quality I'd expect to see in a museum.
Also, I find it funny how Gideon is a little cross-eyed.

I just got Art of Zootopia, and was looking at the wall print and only now noticed something:
Judy Hopps actually has violet eyes, not blue eyes. :-O

It seems the eye color on the actual model is something like Red 20, Green 15, Blue 65.
It does nothing to diminish the picture in general, and it's still my favorite picture of yours, but I'm curious. Considering this is a digital work, and I assume you originally made it in something like Photoshop or GIMP, did you save the original file with all its layers, or do you only have the flattened final work? I can imagine that if you had the original with layers, going back and checking or changing a layer would take a matter of minutes, whereas making changes without the original layers would require the normal tools of photo manipulation.
