((other guard's ears perk, there's a brief "oh no" expression -- and he begins howling, followed by all of the other wolf guards)

(Fun fact: This trick really works. It's how animal researchers get wolf packs to howl.)

So they were wolves? In Polish version they were called coyotes...

That's interesting. A bit of localization I guess. I know each region got a different newscaster which was a nice touch.

Yeah, but the models were the same, so I dunno why they called them this way...

Well, Judy's howl is like that of a coyote. These guys are specifically referred to in the English version as timber wolves:

(watching JamCam footage of Manchas as two wolf guards arrive)

Nick: Timber wolves. What are those dum-dums doing?

(on the screen, the wolves capture the feral Manchas with a net gun and turn to leave)

Nick: Bet you a nickel one of 'em's going to howl.

(on the screen, silently, first one wolf howls, then the other)

Nick: ... aaaand, there they go. What is it with wolves and howling, anyway?

I do like the fact that the news caster was Peter Moosebridge, for any of my fellow canuks that are out there he was voiced by Peter Mansbridge, pretty much the most famous news caster in Canada lmao xD
